Don’t forget to come to Leonard’s this Friday evening if you can make it. It’s going to be crazy - there’ll be dancing dwarves and fire-eating goats. Also playing that evening will be The New York Howl - which inlcludes the magnificent Brer Brian. They’re from New York (in case you can’t work that out from the name). I am here to tell you that Albino returns to the stage next week not once but twice. On Monday we play at 8.15 at The Old Queen’s Head at 44 Essex Road, London N1 8LN. On Tuesday we have the incredible pleasure of playing at the inaugural session of ‘Rule of Four’, a new monthly night hosted by satan’s favourite naturist, Paul Hawkins. That takes place at The Water Poet at 9-11 Folgate Street E1 6BX. The list of those also playing includes David Cronenburg’s wife and The Intolerable Kidd.

The red planet approaches and the lake of fire opens. Albino will celebrate this month with three more live concerts: First, 11 August - 9pm - at the AMERSHAM ARMS, 388 New Cross Rd, London, SE14 6TY. 18 August, 9pm again at LEONARDS, 42 Northampton Road, Clerkenwell, London, EC1R 0HU. That night we’re sharing the bill with the magnificent New York Howl, featuring the exquisite Brer Brian, who is a dual clone of Harry Potter and Lou Reed. 31 August, 9pm at THE BETSEY TROTWOOD, 56 Farringdon Road, London, EC1R 3BL. We’re also playing at two acoustic nights; in Kingston tomorrow at somewhere i’ve forgotten the name of but if you live there you probably know it and at Ryan’s Bar, Stoke Newington on 21 August. Do come if you can and bring all your demons.
