Some news from Albino:

November 13, 2008

Hello everybody

First, we are celebrating the advent of the virgin-born on Saturday, December 6 at The Stage Door (on Webber Street, nearest tube Waterloo).  Performing with us that night will be an exquisite salad of acts including:
Planetzim - http://www.myspace.com/planetzim; the Tom Waits of the ukelele;

The Other Dances - http://www.myspace.com/theotherdances; Ben Anstis’ marvellous band; watch out for the amazing little electric guitarist, Uni Spica;

Mucky Little Pawprints - http://www.myspace.com/muckylittlepawprints; energetic, danceable antifolk, with a slightly sea-shanty quality.

Second, we were played on Sunday night by Tom Robinson on BBC Radio 6, thanks very much to a recommendation from the amazing Sergeant Buzfuz.  You can hear it at:  http://www.bbc.co.uk/6musicintroducing;

12 Bar Club - 9th January -10 pm.

January 8, 2008

Hello all

Well we didn’t make Christmas number 1, unless no-one told us?

However, we were judged best new Christmas song by a panel and listeners on BBC Southern Counties and Radio Solent, and we look forward to consolidating our thriving fan base in Southampton this year.

It’s a short notice reminder but no-one has anything to do at this time of year and therefore why not come along to celebrate the onset on wintery darkness with us tomorrow evening at Blang! at the 12 Bar Club on Denmark Street, London WC2 (Tottenham court Road tube).

We’re on at 10pm.

Hope to see you there..
